I realize that people seeking therapists like myself are coming here to pay for solutions to challenges - not to pay for therapy itself. They're looking for ways to transform into the person they want to become...into the relationship they believe is possible...and to create the life they wish to live. I help individuals, couples, and relationship structures of all types (polyam, open, consensual non-monogamy) to enact the changes within themselves, their relationships, and their daily lives that will bring them connection, peace, intimacy, and joy.

At the very minimum, a therapist should provide their clients with a space that is undeniably safe, open, and without judgment. This setting is something I have always worked to create for anyone and everyone coming to me for help. But beyond this, I call on my extensive formal training, my therapeutic skillset, and myself to gently yet intentionally guide relationships and individuals into new places of growth, expansion, and possibility.

My approach is informed by a broad collection of therapeutic orientations that include the Gottman Method through the Gottman Institute, emotionally-focused therapy (EFT),  multicultural counseling theories, attachment theory, and mindfulness. My training includes looking at your experiences as a system, with each area of your life, including each event you've experienced in your life, as playing a role in your attitudes and ethics, your views of the world, and the ways you approach your relationships. Through this systemic lens, both for the individuals and the relationships who come to see me, I help you to understand the roles and interplay of these parts of your system so that you can make lasting positive change.

My Certificate in Sex Therapy and Master of Arts in Couple and Family Therapy are both through Antioch University, with an emphasis on multicultural counseling, and I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree through the University of Washington. I am a current member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), the Washington State Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (WAMFT).

When not doing this profession I love, I can be found traveling, going to live concerts, dyeing my hair, tasting different cuisines, watching favorite TV shows and movies, doing origami, and spending time with friends and family.
