Optimal Sexual Experiences (OSE) Group Therapy in Seattle

Restoring, Revitalizing, and Enhancing Your Sexual Relationship!

The most common sexual challenge facing American couples is inhibited sexual desire, with the second being a troublesome discrepancy in sexual desire between partners. Desire issues occur among all types of couples and can arise at any stage of their relationship.

That's the bad news. The great news is that we know what to do about it! We can help. Sex therapists are well-trained and experienced in helping couples to understand and work through relationships that have, for one reason or many, struggled with sexual frequency, sexual desire, or both.

One very effective and efficient way of helping couples to move through desire and frequency issues and into sex worth having is through an 8-week group therapy experience based on the Optimal Sexual Experiences Research Team of the University of Ottawa. This group therapy opportunity may be the key to uniquely restoring your intimate life with your partner.

Here is a bit of information about the group, and please feel free to call or email for more details.

Are you or your partner experiencing low or no sexual desire, low/no sexual frequency, or a distressing discrepancy between your levels of sexual desire? Perhaps you already have a good sex life but you want it to be great? This group is for couples experiencing low or no sexual desire or frequency, or are struggling with desire discrepancy.

The groups run for eight consecutive weeks (two hours per night) on Tuesdays. Currently, we use Zoom for group sessions.

We can accept up to six couples per group. The group's content is based on the Optimal Sexual Experiences Research Team of the University of Ottawa. This team has spent over a decade studying what makes sexual experiences optimal and how we can help couples enhance their sexual relationship through group therapy.

We will have eight consecutive Tuesdays from 7-9 pm, with our next group starting on September 20th, 2022, on Zoom/telehealth. To sign up, please contact Mindy McGovern at mettarel.com/ose.

The cost is $87 per hour per couple ($175 per 2-hour session). For comparison, this cost is about half of what couples typically pay for private practice sex therapy.

Attendance in this group requires a commitment of around 2 hours each week outside of the sessions for "home play" with your partner.
